From the first impulse forward, the process of art making with all it's layers, keeps me intrigued.  Clay sculpture is one of the few arts that go beyond the self, the artist's ego and into the realm of  meditation and prayer.

Composing a good painting  or sculpture is a committed relationship of quality time,  honest harmony, capturing the light, unique shapes and shadows................. as in life itself.

"The great life lesson is that the sacred is the ordinary, it is to be found in daily life, in one's neighbours, friends, family and in one's backyard."   This quote by Abraham Mastow relates to my work completely.
